With the collaboration of scholars, the Collective is unearthing overlooked segments of our common Black and Afro-Iranian histories, expanding on past narratives between Africa and Iran, the Iranian people and Black folks from Iran, Africa and all over the world.

Grounded in research and communicated through a myriad of mediums, such as illustrations, short stories and more, each histories produced by the Collective creatively reaffirms the interconnectedness between Blackness and Iranians.
